Global Director of Communications & Brand
Kate is Global Director of Communications and Brand at Informa Tech, leading the company’s communications strategy for this newly-formed division of Informa plc. Kate was previously Global Head of Communications at Thomson Reuters and subsequently part of the senior team that launched Refinitiv, the $20bn spin off from Thomson Reuters that was acquired by London Stock Exchange Group in 2019.
At Thomson Reuters since 2011, Kate led communications for its Trading and Enterprise divisions and was responsible for rebuilding the reputation of its flagship financial markets desktop, Eikon. Prior to this, she has extensive experience of launching new brands and building awareness, working both in-house and at agencies with big brand companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Reuters, Tullett Prebon, Merrill Lynch, Interactive Data and Logica CMG, as well as smaller fintech companies such as GoldenSource, Fundtech, Numerix, Trayport and Information Mosaic.
